upcoming opportunities soma's helping hands Saturday, January 30 9 am--1 pm Lend a helping hand to some of the senior adults at Scottsdale Bible Church who find it difficult to perform routine maintenance tasks around their homes. Join us as we become the hands and feet of Jesus to share His love in a tangible way. We will meet at SBC in the High School Building and go out to our job sites for the morning. For Jesus, the Gospel wasn’t just a message to be spoken, it was a message to be lived. This is why Jesus commanded His followers to serve the poor and oppressed (Matthew 25:31-46). After His Christ ascended into heaven, His followers continued to live out His teachings (Acts 2:45) and reminded the Church to do the same (James 1:27). As followers of Jesus, we follow His example and reflect His character in our service to those with needs.
