For Jesus, the Gospel wasn’t just a message to be spoken, it was a message to be lived. This is why Jesus commanded His followers to serve the poor and oppressed (Matthew 25:31-46). After His Christ ascended into heaven, His followers continued to live out His teachings (Acts 2:45) and reminded the Church to do the same (James 1:27). As followers of Jesus, we follow His example and reflect His character in our service to those with needs.

Each month we have the opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus in the community. Check the events on the left to see what opportunities are coming up.
